Just kidding. I painted them BLAAAAAACK

Didn’t paint all the way down, because I just wanted to get some paint on them so the glare wouldn’t be so crazy. I did the back one too, because I figured it was blinding people behind me too lol.

On my old honda the paint was coming off and I painted them flat black.

Same here. Gloss black is waaay too ostentatious.

I gave my mom a 2010 Civic I bought in Hawaii and brought here. The black around the doors seems to be a vinyl decal because they have started to go bad. I have to see if they make replacements. I do graphics at work so I could do it. Seems strange they did that.

I need to do this again. I did it when I bought the Galant but that was 2 winters ago and the paint has come off again. I think I’m just gonna say screw it and use some POR15 The we have left over from rust repair in my BILs Mk4.

Mine had a bit of corrosion on the surface, makes a huge improvement to the look of the car with them refinished.
